As a practicing fine artist, I have found inspiration in working in multiple creative disciplines. Creative outlets such as animation, illustration, and printing, are some primary examples of cross pollinating influences that have greatly shaped my fine art painting as well as my comic anatomy.

Keeping this in mind, I have tried to make this website incorporate such multiple disciplines within its design and to showcase my work in a comprehensive, fun, casual presentation. A comic book motif was chosen as the main theme with my "Good Crumbs" comic characters as illustrative reference, with my main objective to keep a traditional, magazine type, book narative.

One of my goals was to display my fine art seriously while not taking my self so seriously - or to have more of a light hearted disposition. The paintings displayed on this website are mostly done on site or outdoors (plein air painting). In every piece I try to bring out the bare essence of the subject as it presents itself and not infuse my own particular perspective that would disrupt important communicative dialogue. In short, I try to be the proverbial fly on the wall.
